Hi! This is KAFKA speaking. This is a post about potential new voicebanks that are currently in the works as we speak.
Over the past few months, I have been juggling with a lot of voicebank projects, such as Maria and Mario Fuwa's 6th anniversary voicebanks, an AI English TTS voicebank for Mario, and Meteo Junka's new append. Though they are publicly released, I have been working on some unreleased voicebanks on the sidelines.
About Maria and Mario's DeepVocal voicebanks, MORNINGSTAR and GHOSTFIRE, they are nearing completion with polished configurations but lack new designs so far. You may have noticed on their voicebank downloads page about the unreleased voicebanks for some time. I do not know when I will be releasing them as I'd like to finish their designs beforehand, so please be patient ^_^
I've been also considering making a new DeepVocal voicebank for Meteo, but given the current time constraints, their DeepVocal voicebank may end up being an import of their LACRIMOSA voicebank without the falsetto pitch. If I do have enough free time on my hands, I may record a brand-new voicebank for DeepVocal.
Plans for potential English voicebanks for the current KAFKAPOLIS UTAUs are now being considered. I have not settled with what reclist I should use to the decide the format, but that may change later on. Either way, developing English voicebanks has been something on my mind since creating voicebanks in 2015, and I am excited to go forward with it.
Take this with a grain of salt, but there might be some new UTAUs joining the KAFKAPOLIS UTAU crew in the future with new voicebanks. Depending on how smoothly the process will go. More details to come, as usual.
